Abastumani in southern Georgia

Abastumani is a small town in the Adigeni Municipality, Samtskhe-Javakheti region of Georgia. Abastumani's three hot springs are mineralized, rich in sulfate-sodium chloride waters. They have long been used in the treatment of tuberculosis.

Bakhmaro – High mountainous resort in Guria

According to the legend, the name of the resort originated from the name of a Georgian noble man’s daughter called Maro. Maro was abducted and then killed by the Turkish. They left her body near a stone on which they wrote with her blood “Bakh maro” that means see your Maro.

Abudelauri colorful lakes

There are three: a green, a white and a blue lake. The most distinguished amongst these is the last one. From three sides the lakes are surrounded by the mountains, making the view even more spectacular.

The Kintrishi Protected Landscape

The Kintrishi Protected Landscape is a large area in the Kobuleti District, Adjara, Georgia, located in the gorge of the Kintrishi River. Archeological excavations revealed even older pre-Christian monuments in the areas. The Kintrishi State Nature Reserve covers 18,893 hectares. The site is famous for its medieval arch bridge and St. George’s Monastery.
